ABSTRACT

This study critiques the tile hire purchase Act 2009 of Uganda, by examining its various provisions m conjunction with the Hire Purchase Regulations of Uganda 2012; however, all this critical .tralysis will be based on the comparison of the Uganda lire Purchase Act 2009 with the Kenya Hire Purchase Act 51lfl. t~1d the purpose for 1ihis research is to put it to the attention of the Uganda legislators and the,_.t~er stakeholder the ambiguities, loopholes and the unrealistic that is under the HPA 2009 thereby suggesting IIDSSible amendments and recommendations thereof.
